An Idea that may or may not happen.
So my boyfriend and I argue about feminism fairly often and I feel that I can never articulate my points very well. Instead of trying to tell him myself, I think it is time that I reach out to other feminists’ writings. To that end, I suggested that he and I read A Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood. I’ve never read it, and neither has he. I think I’ve interested him in the book with my loose description of it as a dystopian novel, stories that we both find worth reading. He does not read printed texts very often though, so I’m worried that he won’t be able to complete the work. Anyways, I’m going to find two copies of the book and we will get started on it soon (hopefully).
